A Couple of Putts Review of Nowhere Mini Golf
A Couple of Putts, a group who plays, reviews, documents, and designs mini golf courses around the world, visited Nowhere Entertainment’s mini golf course and shared their thoughts on our mini golf course in a recent article!
Nowhere Haunted House Mini Golf – Inver Grove Heights, MN
In June of 2023, we were invited by the creative crew of Nowhere Haunted House to get a sneak peek of the haunted house and tour the blank slate that would soon become their 13-hole mini golf course. The course opened early in the fall of 2023 and we were eager to get there after the busy competitive season wrapped up. On Halloween weekend 2023, we decided there was no better time to go play a round and see the finished course.
Don’t be fooled by its name, Nowhere is definitely somewhere fun and creative! This indoor course has a wide variety of exciting gameplay. As you move through the course, you get to experience immersive themes ranging from Frankenstein to a dark carnival, an alleyway to a graveyard, a haunted forest to a volcanic island, and more.
A handful of the holes are a bit long and fussy (like the duck game and the graveyard) – making them pretty challenging. But, it’s not necessarily a bad thing since most of the other holes are easy to score a 1 or 2. It’s hard to see in the photos but there are a lot of little details throughout the course including a mini crashed train set on #6 and 3D s’mores next to the bear mural.
All of this came as little surprise to us after seeing how well they executed their haunted house attraction. This is the perfect course to play during the spooky season but also serves as a fun escape year round.
