Nowhere Haunted House Brings a Second Year of Scares to Inver Grove Heights

Twin Cities Geek highlighted the return of Nowhere Haunted House for a second year in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.

Nowhere Haunted House has become a staple Halloween event, known for its immersive scares and creative atmosphere. The event features different themed rooms, creepy actors, and special nights such as adults-only events and family-friendly options.

There are new attractions and improvements for 2023 that helps enhance the visitor experience, including immersive scenes instead of just a walkthrough. Many set pieces were brand new, but some bits were thrown together or draped over the top of haunt set pieces to bring in the Yuletide aesthetic, so one could see through the Christmas skin to the Halloween bones underneath. For me, this ruined some of the animatronic jump scares (though sadly not the dang clown—that thing is cursed), but it didn’t detract from the story, which is why we were there anyway.
